Prospect lists, cleaned before you are charged for them

Every address in an import passes the same checks: format, duplicates, country, do-not-contact and email verification. One credit is charged for each prospect that is actually imported.

Sample data. The result of importing a list of 500 prospects: which rows were imported, which were skipped and why, and how many credits were charged.

What you get with prospect lists

An import is not a bulk upload. It is a series of checks that leave you with a list you can send to.

Checks every address passes
  1. 1Valid addressOtherwise: invalid address
  2. 2Not repeated in the fileOtherwise: duplicate in file
  3. 3Country acceptedOtherwise: region blocked
  4. 4Not on the do-not-contact listOtherwise: suppressed
  5. 5Not imported beforeOtherwise: already imported
  6. 6Passes email verificationRisky addresses are left out unless you allow them

Six checks, in a fixed order

Each address is tested for a valid format, a duplicate in the same file, an accepted country, the do-not-contact list, an earlier import and finally email verification. An address that fails a check is skipped with the reason, so you always see why a row did not come in.

What happens to a row
Country fieldRequired, two letters
Repeated in the fileSkipped as duplicate
Do-not-contact listSkipped as suppressed
Imported earlierSkipped as already imported

Lists that stay clean over time

Every prospect carries a country. Addresses on your do-not-contact list, repeated in the file, or imported earlier are skipped, so the same person is never loaded twice and nobody you have already lost is written to again.

Prospect credits each month
Professional10,000
Enterprise50,000
Enterprise is bought on a call.

One credit per imported prospect

Credits are held while the list is checked and only the prospects actually imported are charged. If the import cannot finish, the hold is released. Professional includes 10,000 credits a month and Enterprise includes 50,000.

Sample response
{  "imported": 412,  "skipped": [    { "email": "lena@vantage…", "reason": "region_blocked" },    { "email": "ava@kestrel…", "reason": "duplicate_in_request" }  ],  "credits_charged": 412,  "credits_remaining": 9588}

A result that says why

An import takes up to 500 prospects per request and answers with how many were imported, a list of skipped addresses with the reason for each, and the credits charged and left. Nothing is hidden and nothing is half done.

Frequently asked questions

Where do the prospects come from?
From you. ColdMeetings checks and imports a list you provide.
Which countries can I import prospects from?
Everywhere except the EU, the UK and Israel. Prospects there are skipped as region blocked, and no credit is charged for them.
Am I charged for addresses that get skipped?
No. Credits are charged only for prospects that are actually imported, and a failed import releases its hold. Professional includes 10,000 credits a month.
