Prospect lists you can trust, pipeline you can plan

Pipeline starts with a list worth sending to. Bring your prospects into ColdMeetings, let the import checks clear out the rows that would waste a send, and work out how much pipeline your revenue target asks for.

  • Imports are checked before a prospect is added.
  • One credit is used per prospect actually imported.
  • Campaigns work the list you keep.

Where the pipeline work happens

Six things the platform does to turn a spreadsheet of names into a list you can run campaigns on.

Format checks

Rows with a malformed email or missing field are flagged on import instead of failing later at send time.

Duplicate removal

Repeats inside the file and prospects you already imported are caught, so one person is not sent the same sequence twice.

Do-not-contact list

Anyone on your do-not-contact list is held back from the import and never enters a campaign.

Email verification

Addresses are verified so your sending reputation is not spent on mailboxes that do not exist.

Credits for what lands

A credit is used for each prospect actually imported, not for each row in the file.

A target worked backwards

The table below turns a revenue target and a win rate into the pipeline you need, so list size has a reason.

How much pipeline a revenue target needs

A lead generation service is judged by the pipeline it builds. One example target of $500,000 with $1,000,000 already in the pipeline, worked at three win rates.

Target, pipeline, deal size and win rates are example figures, not benchmarks.

The same target and pipeline at three example win rates
Line15% win rate25% win rate35% win rate
Coverage today2 times2 times2 times
Pipeline the win rate calls for$3,333,333$2,000,000$1,428,571
Gap to close$2,333,333$1,000,000$428,571
New opportunities of a typical size94 opportunities40 opportunities18 opportunities
The arithmetic

Pipeline needed = revenue target x 100 / win rate

Gap = pipeline needed - pipeline in hand

A lower win rate asks for far more pipeline for the same target, which is why the number of qualified opportunities you add each month matters more than the size of any list.

From spreadsheet to working list

  1. Send the prospects

Post your list of prospects to a campaign through the prospects endpoint.

  2. Review the checks

See which rows passed and which were held back, with the reason for each.

  3. Import what passed

Prospects that cleared every check are added to the list and counted against your credits.

  4. Attach a campaign

Point a sequence at the list and let it send from your connected mailboxes.

What it costs

Prospect credits come with the plan, with both paid plans shown here from the plan catalog.

Frequently asked questions

Does ColdMeetings sell lead lists?
No. You bring your own prospects, and the platform checks them as they are imported so the list you keep is clean.
What if my file has repeats?
Repeats inside the file and prospects already imported are held back, and only one copy is added.
How do I know how large a list I need?
Work backwards from the revenue target. The table on this page shows how a target, deal size and win rate become required pipeline.
