Credits and billing

For AI agents: the docs index is at /llms.txt, and every page is also served as markdown at its URL plus .md.

ColdMeetings has one credit type: the prospect credit. Importing a prospect into a campaign costs one. Everything else in the API is free of credits and limited by your plan instead.

Plans and quotas#

PlanPriceProspect credits a monthDomainsMailboxesActive campaigns
Professional$495/month10,00012305
Enterprisefrom $36,000/yr50,0004012020

The numbers come from the same plan list as the pricing page and from GET /plans. An account with no active plan cannot create sending domains or mailboxes, and a request that needs a plan answers subscription_required. A plan's limits are enforced by the API: going over one answers plan_limit. Enterprise is bought on a call and is listed from its starting price.

How credits are spent#

  • One credit per prospect that is really imported.
  • Prospects that are skipped cost nothing: invalid or duplicate addresses, addresses in countries that are not accepted, suppressed addresses, addresses already imported, and addresses that fail verification.
  • Credits are held while an import runs and charged afterwards for the prospects that went in. A hold that is never settled stops holding credits after 5 minutes.
  • If an import needs more credits than the account has, it answers insufficient_credits and imports nothing. A failed import releases its hold.

See Campaigns for the import request and response.

Read your balance#

GET /v1/account returns prospect_credits.available, the credits you can spend now, and prospect_credits.reserved, the credits held by an import in progress.

Monthly grants#

A paid plan grants its prospect credits each time an invoice is paid: the first payment and every renewal. The credits last until the end of the billing period they were granted for, so unused credits do not carry into the next period. A yearly plan grants all twelve months at once. A payment notice that arrives twice grants once.

A plan starts when we confirm your payment and set up your account. Email hello@coldmeetings.com to start. Nothing else changes a plan or adds credits except an action by the operator.

Payment events#

The payment provider reports payment and subscription events to POST /v1/billing/webhook. That route takes no API key. Each request must carry the provider's signature header, and it is verified before anything changes. A rejected event answers with an error, so the provider retries it.

Supplier costs#

On Professional you pay your domain, mailbox and sending software suppliers directly. Enterprise includes the infrastructure. Any supplier cost we show is an estimate, not a quote.
